Ayşe Sosar completed her undergraduate studies in Persian Language and Literature at the Faculty of Literature and Humanities, University of Tehran, in 2003. Between 2004 and 2012, she pursued her MA and PhD at Tarbiat Modares University, where she conducted comparative thesis research on contemporary Iranian and Turkish novels. Upon returning to Turkey in 2014, she joined the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Sakarya University. She currently teaches Persian and Iranian history at the Middle East Institute and continues her academic work in the fields of Persian language and literature, contemporary Iranian novels, and the cultural and intellectual history of Iran.
