İsmail Öztürk graduated from the Department of Economics at Hacettepe University in 2014. Taht same year, he began graduate studies in the Economic Theory program at Gazi University. From 2015 to 2019, he worked as an assistant provincial migration expert, and from 2019 to 2023, as a provincial migration expert at the Presidency of Migration Management, Ministry of the Interior. During his tenure at the Migration Management, he specialized in the fields of international protection and combating irregular migration. Since 2023, he has been working as a research assistant at the Middle East Institute of Sakarya University. He completed his Master's degree with a thesis titled "The Role of Foreign Capital Utilization in Economic Growth: A Panel Data Analysis on African Countries" at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University and is currently pursuing a PhD in the same department.
